Position Summary

The Logistics Coordinator is pivotal to our organization’s efficient supply chain management. This role involves overseeing logistics processes, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring timely product delivery. 

Essential Functions

  • Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to streamline logistics, ensuring timely deliveries and efficient resource utilization. 
  • Maintain precise inventory records and manage stock levels to facilitate timely procurement. 
  • Monitor shipments, manage transportation schedules, and provide real-time updates to stakeholders. 
  • Prepare and manage shipping and customs documents, ensuring compliance. 
  • Identify and promptly resolve logistics issues to minimize supply chain disruptions. 
  • Optimize transportation costs while upholding service quality and customer satisfaction. 
  • Ensure product quality during transportation and storage. 

Additional Duties

  • Foster strong supplier relationships and negotiate favorable terms. 
  • Identify and implement process enhancements within the logistics department. 
  • Ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. 
  • Promote a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols. 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Proficiency in logistics operations, supply chain management, and transportation modes. 
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration. 
  • Ability to identify and address logistics challenges efficiently. 
  • Diligent in documentation and record-keeping to maintain accuracy. 
  • Able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with changing priorities. 
  • Skilled in logistics software and tools for tracking, reporting, and analysis. 
  • Effective in cross-functional teamwork and collaboration. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field. 
  • Proven logistics coordination experience. 
  • Familiarity with logistics software. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. 
  • Knowledge of Singapore’s logistics and import/export regulations. 
  • Independent and team-oriented work capabilities.
