Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven VP of Sales for our Hyperscale & MTDC division. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and growing our sales efforts within the hyperscale and multi-tenant data center sectors. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in sales leadership, a deep understanding of the data center industry, and a proven record of accomplishment of driving revenue growth. Reporting directly to the Executive Team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Byte sales strategy of ByteBridge and achieving ambitious goals. 

Essential Functions

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with company’s objectives, focusing on the Hyperscale & MTDC customers. 
  • Lead, guide, and manage a high-performing sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets. 
  • Establish and cultivate strategic partnerships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in the hyperscale and multi-tenant data center customers. 
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (including marketing and product) to ensure consistency in messaging, market positioning, and customer requirements. 
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities and optimize sales strategies. 
  • Set ambitious sales targets, track performance metrics, and provide data-driven insights to senior management. 
  • Utilize solution-based sales techniques and industry knowledge to negotiate and successfully close complex sales transactions. 
  • Represent Byte Bridge Inc by participating in industry events, conferences, and networking activities to enhance brand visibility and foster partnerships. 

Additional Duties

  • Cultivate a collaborative and motivated sales culture. 
  • Act as a representative at industry events and client interactions. 
  • Channel client feedback for ongoing enhancement of products. 
  • Contribute to refining and streamlining sales processes. 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Proven record in leadership roles within tech or data center sectors. 
  • Deep understanding of Hyperscale & MTDC market trends. 
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication finesse. 
  • Adept at strategic planning supported by data-driven insights. 
  • Proficient in building, leading, and inspiring high-performing teams. 
  • Flexibility for travel to engage clients and attend industry events. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field. 
  • Extensive experience in successful sales leadership. 
  • Demonstrated history of achieving and surpassing revenue goals. 
  • Proficiency in strategic planning and execution. 

Compensation

  • Base salary – $240,000 annually.
  • Commission – Additional earnings based on targets achieved and performance.
  • Equity Option – Opportunity for equity ownership, enabling participation in the company’s growth.

Performance Measures

  • Attainment of revenue targets and sales milestones. 
  • Expansion of the Hyperscale & MTDC client portfolio. 
  • Efficiency of sales strategies and team management. 
  • Contribution to cross-functional constructive interaction and product enhancement. 
  • Positive client feedback affirming relationship-building prowess.
