Asset Management Specialist (AMS)

Position Overview
We are hiring an Asset Management Specialist (AMS) to support a large-scale Data Centre project under our BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) operations team, focusing on Data Centre Operations Support.
This role focuses on IT hardware asset control, inventory management, and logistics coordination within a data centre environment. You will be responsible for maintaining high asset accuracy, ensuring smooth inbound and outbound operations, and supporting overall warehouse governance to keep operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and unpack inbound IT hardware shipments
- Verify quantities against delivery documents and sign off on shipments
- Stage and distribute equipment such as servers, network devices, and components
- Manage RMAs, returns, internal transfers, and decommissioned assets
- Record all asset movements accurately in the asset management system and reconcile physical inventory with system records
- Maintain accurate inventory using WMS, ERP, barcode scanners, or handheld devices
- Perform cycle counts, stock checks, and audits, including investigating and resolving inventory gaps
- Ensure all shipping and inventory documentation is complete and accurate
- Work closely with Data Centre Technicians, Network teams, and Engineers to support hardware deployment, refresh projects, and expansion activities
- Provide inventory updates and logistics coordination during operational reviews and escalate risks impacting asset availability
Required Qualifications
- Experience in warehouse operations, asset management, or supply chain
- Hands-on experience with WMS or ERP systems (SAP or similar preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and process discipline
- Comfortable working in a structured data centre environment with PPE requirements
- Basic English communication skills
- Willing to work in Rayong and support operational schedules
