Safety Technician
Location: Thailand
The Security Engineer supports physical security operations across data center environments. This role is responsible for monitoring security infrastructure, responding to incidents, ensuring compliance with access control policies, and supporting safe operations within leased or managed data center spaces. The position operates as part of a multi-tier security model, working closely with Security Operations Centers (SOC), Facilities teams, and regional security leadership to maintain the integrity and security of critical infrastructure. Safety Technician serves as the field lead for security response operations, managing complex incidents and providing guidance to Tier 1 security responders.
- Lead incident response investigations and produce detailed incident reports
- Act as the primary on-site point of contact for escalated security events
- Coordinate with SOC, Facilities, EHS, and operations teams during security incidents
- Oversee vendor work related to physical security infrastructure
- Conduct root cause analysis for recurring security system issues
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Tier 1 responders
- Support development of security procedures and operational playbooks
- Assist with internal audits and external compliance inspections
- Collaborate with regional and global security leadership on threat management
- Minimum 3 years of experience in physical security or security operations
- Experience working in data centers, colocation facilities, or critical infrastructure environments preferred
- Strong knowledge of access control systems, CCTV platforms, and incident response processes
- Familiarity with ticketing and incident management platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira)
- Certifications such as OSHA 10/30, APP, CPP, or other security-related training are advantageous
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders
