Position Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible IT Asset Management Specialist to support asset tracking, procurement, and lifecycle management in a high-availability data center environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a technical operations or data center setting and be comfortable managing hardware inventory across its full lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow client-specific operational requirements; provide on-site or emergency support including during non-standard working hours if needed.
  • Ensure all asset management processes comply with legal, audit, and internal compliance standards (e.g., accurate labeling, registration, lifecycle tracking).
  • Execute SOPs related to asset receiving, issuance, movement, and disposal; maintain full traceability throughout the asset lifecycle.
  • Maintain and operate asset management platforms or databases; ensure accuracy and consistency of asset data (e.g., SN, model, status, ownership).
  • Use ticketing systems to process incoming requests; ensure service quality and response time SLAs are met.
  • Manage vendor relationships and coordinate deliveries, repairs, and replacements.
  • Support cross-regional collaboration with remote IT teams and manufacturers (Mandarin language skills a plus).
  • Conduct regular physical audits and reconciliations of data center IT equipment to ensure 100% alignment between system records and on-site inventory.
  • Monitor anomalies, analyze risks, and submit improvement proposals proactively.
Required Qualifications
  • Education: Associate degree or higher in Computer Science, IT, or a related technical field.
  • Experience:
    • At least 3 years of experience in IT asset management, hardware support, or data center operations.
    • Familiarity with hardware such as servers, storage units, switches, cables, patch panels, etc.
  • Skills:
    • Proficient in asset management tools and software.
    • Solid understanding of hardware lifecycle, logistics, and inventory control.
    • Ability to replace or troubleshoot common components such as memory, network cards, hard drives, etc.
    • Good knowledge of procurement workflows and risk prevention best practices.

Employment Notes
  • This is a 12-month fixed-term contract (CDD) aligned with a specific project timeline. Subject to project continuation and individual performance, there is potential for conversion to a permanent contract (CDI).
